Through my various responsibilities, I have developed strong experience in team coordination, facilitation, organisational strategy, volunteer engagement, and burnout prevention.
"Tribes : We Need You to Lead Us" by Seth Godin
Seth Godin, an entrepreneur, speaker, and one of the most influential thinkers in modern marketing and community-building.
Instead of relying only on advertising, he argues that modern organisations grow by creating engaged communities (or “tribes”) built around trust, shared values, and participation. The rise of the internet and social platforms made it possible for individuals to organise themselves, collaborate, and influence with network-based communities.
According to Seth Godin, leadership is no longer limited to people with formal authority or large organisations. Anyone can become a leader by connecting people around a shared vision and helping a community grow.
The book explains that :
Successful movements are built through authenticity, trust, and participation rather than control
Leadership means creating momentum, empowering others, and encouraging collective action. Your movement needs to be bigger than you.
Communities become powerful when members feel ownership and actively contribute.
This book strongly influenced modern approaches to grassroots organising, online communities, participatory movements, and volunteer engagement.

2019 - Regional Lead Paris / Ile-de-France
As Regional Lead in Paris and Co-Lead of FR Expansion, I helped coordinate the 2019 European elections campaign while training local teams to distribute flyers and organize Meet & Greet events.
Since 2020 - Local responsible in Nantes
I moved to Nantes in November 2019, when only one member was active locally. Since then, the team has grown to around 15 members, making it one of the five most active cities in Volt France.
The local group also has a balanced gender representation and includes members from diverse and less privileged backgrounds.
Since 2025 - Region Coordinator of West of France
After I completed my mandate on the FR board in September 2025,
I took on the responsibility of Regional Lead for Western France.
My role is to coordinate local teams and support their growth.
During the 2026 municipal elections, one of the two elected officials from Volt France was elected in the region.
Local team : Nantes (2021)
Regionnal Team : FR Grand Ouest (2023)
Within the FR Board, I served on a voluntary basis from 2022 to 2025, first as Treasurer and then as Co-President.
As Treasurer, I completed 3 annual financial declarations to the French authorities, including state audits and legal reviews. I also managed the financial declarations related to secure public funding.
In budget planning, I worked to empower functionnal teams and local teams by creating dedicated regional budgets and incentive mechanisms to encourage initiative.

I became Co-President of Volt France in September 2023, knowing that only one month later the Volt Europa General Assembly Paris 2023 would take place and that I would be closely involved in preparing and coordinating the European election campaign.
At the beginning of 2024, I left my engineering job to volunteer full-time in support of Volt France during the European Parliament election campaign. I also helped lead the unexpected snap French legislative elections that followed.
With only 5 days to organise collectively and raise funds, what I learned is simple : preparation, structure, and financial anticipation are essential to succeed, but clear communication and processes are what make a community truly powerful.

➢ Burnout prevention
Because I have personally experienced burnout, over the years I have focused on creating safer and more sustainable volunteer environments, guided by one mantra :
“Think about what we can do, not what we should do”
This topic was notably part of my speech during the Volt Europa General Assembly Paris 2023.
I'm proud that, during the two major election cycles faced by Volt France in 2024, my strong focus on burnout prevention helped ensure that 0 members left due to burnout.
I believe I can bring this mindset to the European Board to help reduce workload imbalances, where some members become overloaded while others can't contribute due to time or legitimacy barriers.
